RIP HOMIE

this week we lost a friend, legend, and super dude in adam goldstein. dude helped me out and looked out for me when i was coming up when he didn’t need to, and barely knew me. my story now seems so common when u talk to other djs and u realize how many people he touched and helped along the way. besides being the nicest dude on earth he was the best dj ive ever seen. period. (and ive seen alot). every time i saw him, i just stood in amazement and thought to myself could i do this or that. and the answer was always no. he took the mainstream club crap that we all play and made it fun. he took songs that i thought were so cornball or completely played out and made them relevant, so much so that my next show i would get the balls to play the same songs and i would end up looking super corny. he that ability to go from hipster to 80s cheese to reggae and back again and never break a sweat. he started the no headphone movement and put a bunch of djs on to serato and even got his own mode named after him after so many djs tried to steal his style and songs. like diplo said he was our michael jackson and he will be missed immensely. rip homie!
